Description
“I ran into some stranger today, odd fellow, gray skin, no face, but a very calm tone to the voice he uttered. Or I presume it was a ‘he’ as I didn’t seem to find any genitals on its person, I even pretended to fall and check! HAH! – but alas, so he asked me but one thing; Who are you?”
“Well, That was simple to say, I am Onyx—Sorry, Dr. Onyx Fleabitten. An unfortunate surname, many a bully in my younger years, but that’s not the point. I’m an adventurer, Got my PHD in animalistic behavior. I did my thesis on Humans, those feral bald apes. Good times. But now I’m here, with the Dimension Lens strapped to my eye. It leeching off of my energy in trade for limitless dimensional travel and immortality. I mean, I’m already an old man, my black fur coat slowly becoming gray and thinner. I left my colleagues behind, Sparque and the new kid. They said I was crazy when I revealed I’ve stolen the lens from the London national museum of oddities.”
“Well now I’m here, my pages upon pages of research across dimensions in my duffle bag. I should probably get a book sometime. But anyhow, the pages; Written all with research I’ve done on the beasts of the other worlds. Like one where the humans had felines as myself as pets. Repulsive, quite so. And another where sand dragons roamed. My colleagues won’t call me crazy anymore, aside from my mental illness! Haha!”
“But anyway, that’s what I told, then he disappeared into this air. I didn’t take much of it, because the next step I took shifted the dimension and made me fall into an ocean of custard. Or something very much like it. Took my hours to dry my research. And some pages now smell like vanilla. Made me think about scratch and sniff pages for my encyclopedia? But yes, onward!”

So this one is in direct relation to my June 02 and 03 entries. And a nice link to my Glider dragon, and the sandsift dragon from before. I had no intention of making Fleabitten a character, until I decided that the name was very cat-like. Or at least it seemed fitting. So I decided to make him a deranged old man, Older than Sparque even. That stole an artifact to go write about everything on the planet, which ever dimension he would be in. Making him immortal, crazier by the second, and a lot more determined.
All based on my third, before unmentioned, housecat Onyx. Which went senile early, ran away, and I now presume is dead. I loving memory to that cat.
